Museum of Flight – Seattle 2025

Located outside of Seattle, this is a great flight museum, one of the best in the US.
It is deceiving in size, as you first walk into the main gallery, it’s a similar feeling as the National Air and Space Museum, with something from civilian to military planes of note. Including a SR71 blackbird. But don’t miss the WW1 and WW2 galleries, which requires you to leave the main open area. There’s also a Boeing showcase building that traces Boeing early history to present day and a ‘traffic control tower’ that looks onto the adjoining airport runway. There’s also an outdoor area which lncludes an old Air Force 1. You need to cross a skybridge to get to 2nd part of the museum. The WW1/2 Galleries are especially well done, if you really want to look at everything, it will take at least 3-4 hours.
If you are in the Seattle area, it’s not to be missed. Their website is The Museum of Flight
