Lyon Air Museum

Lyon Air Museum is in Santa Ana, California, right next to the John Wayne airport – the smaller alternative to LAX.

While not a large museum, it’s very well maintained. It has a B-17, B-25, and a B-26 in addition to some jeep and automobiles. It’s worth mentioning that they have a 1939 Mercedes Model G4 Touring Wagon that was owned by Adolf Hitler. Definitely didn’t expect to that in a museum in California. Since it’s right next the airport, you can watch planes take off and land too. If you are in the LA area, definitely worth an afternoon.
