Me163 – Dragon

Not much to say about this rather older kit of the Me163.  Figured this would be a fairly quick build and it was time to replace my ancient Testors Me163.  The DML kit definitely has nice details and some fiddly PE for the undercarriage and cockpit. Still small plane, small number of parts.  Finished Out of the Box with box decals, and time to practice with my Tamiya airbrush to freehand the camo.  Come a long way since my first Testor airbrush attempt on the Testors kit.

And just for Nostalgia, here’s the Testors kit.  Lots of learning for $5 investement.
