The American Military Museum

Interesting collection of mostly American Armor in El Monte California, just outside Los Angeles.

Everything is outdoors and all references are from a QR code to a webpage. You will see a good number of interesting US tanks and armored vechicles and despite the name, some German and 1 Japanese tank – which somewhat rare to see in the US. There is a good collection of Naval guns too.

At the end of the day, this is definitely only for ‘armored geeks’ only – there is really no historical context. But if you are an Armor Geek, this is a great little place to stop by. You can cover everything in an hour or if you a really into it, 2 hours.
